Two brothers and their spouses, alongside two sisters and their spouses, said “I Do” again at the chapel this week. It may have been a little crowded at the altar, but their hearts were clearly full of love and high-spirited fun. Among the four couples, one had been married as long as 35 years; another pair were practically newlyweds, renewing vows after just a year. Love was definitely in the air, and no one could tell the newlyweds from the “veterans.”
The brides wore matching veils, but otherwise the ceremony was warm and relaxed. For one groom, at least, the whole thing was a bit of a surprise. He quipped, ” I thought we were just going to dinner…”
If you had the formal church-style wedding the first time, and just want to bring back some of the romance and excitement of a wedding day, Viva Las Vegas is the place to book the ceremony you may have wished for but didn’t dare go through with. That’s what a vow renewal is all about. The fun wedding. Anyone from Elvis to your favorite superhero can do the honors. Because weddings are all about fulfilling fantasies, we also offer The Phantom, Edward, flying vampires, or even Dracula for all your vow renewing needs– if you like things a bit on the dark side. (Okay, that’s truly dancing in the dark.)
Wishing many happy memories to all the happy couples who did it again!
